Hollow dots: practice taps where your score was hidden
A 1990 study by Winstein and Schmidt found that people who got feedback after every attempt did fine in practice and worse in a later test without it, while people whose feedback was cut back over time held on to the skill better. One run of yours proves nothing either way, so play the other mode and compare.
We built Beoflow around the same idea. It is a training platform for coaches and athletes, and the data in it is there to sharpen your own read, so over time you lean on the screen less.
